Review of Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle by Tom Venuto
The most powerful fat loss system ever developed?
In a marketplace packed full of "lose 10lbs in 2 days" hype and exaggeration, Burn The Fat is a welcome breath of
fresh air. Written by Tom Venuto, a respected lifetime-natural bodybuilder,
personal trainer, nutritionist and success coach From New Jersey, this substantial book contains an
impressive 341 pages packed with real content, not double spaced filler as with many ebooks. If you are
looking for a "hardcore" permanent fat loss regime this really is the book for you. However, if you are
looking for the latest impossible fad promising incredible results with no effort on your part, this probably isnt
for you. This book does not promise the impossible: however follow Tom Venuto's advice and you will lose
weight.
So what is it which makes this particular book so exceptional?
* Value
Firstly, it's worth mentioning that page count again: 341 pages. It's not uncommon to pay top
dollar for ebooks with 75 - 150 pages in the Health and Weight Loss market, but the point is worth
emphasizing : this is no scam, you certainly won't be looking for a refund on this one. And every one of
those 341 pages is packed with quality information and advice, in fact the only real criticism I could
direct at Tom would be that theres almost too much information in the book. On an initial scan through
the more casual reader may be worried they've bitten off more than they can chew! However, rest
assured the book is well laid out and easy to read once you've got started, and overall great value.
* Simple Detailed and Honest
One of Tom's stated aims from the Introduction to the book is to provide
"simple, but detailed answers to all your questions", sharing honest and
unbiased information about fat loss, from someone who has no financial interest
in any miracle supplements or stomach-reducing gadgets. Tom has no links to the supplement
or the equipment industries,
instead revealing he has in the past turned down potentially lucrative offers to promote certain products.
His well known ethical standpoint within the industry ensures the information and advice within Burn The Fat
is untainted by big business and has the sole purpose of helping people lose weight. The book while simple
to read is also complex in it's content: there are full chapters detailing topics such as how to measure your
fat to mucle ratio, metabolic individuality, calorie balancing, good fats vs bad fats,
example Burn The Fat eating plans, cardio training, weight training, and many more. This detail really is unrivaled.
* NOT a Conventional Diet
Unlike many weight loss books and fads Tom does not advocate very low calorie or starvation diets, instead
insisting most people are completely wrong in the way they diet to lose body fat. The book goes into great detail
showing the CORRECT and PERMANENT way to lose body fat, explaining why most diets simply do not work.
Burn The Fat, Feed The Muscle, as the name suggests, details clearly how to burn the fat from your body
while building the muscles. In a conventional low fat diet BOTH the fat and the muscle are starved, shutting
down the metabolism and making the diet unsustainable!
* Lifestyle, not diet
One of the key truths exposed in Burn The Fat is that "diets" tend to be temporary changes to your eating and
exercise habits, but the key to maintaining low body fat without starving the body is lifestyle change.
Tom has created a complete and detailed analysis of the changes required to our daily routine
to achieve a healthy and sustainable fitness level.
* Everyone is different
Tom's program will also teach you how to determine what body type you have and show
you how to individualize your nutrition and training to get the very best benefit from it.
As everyone has a different metabolic rate, digestive capacity, hormonal profile, muscle fiber distribution and body
structure, a generic one-size-fits-all diet or
exercise plan is going to fail. Burn The Fat teaches how to adjust your nutrition and
training to fit your unique needs. Again this is hugely important and something rarely touched on in other
generic diet books and programs.
* Simple, but not easy
Again exploding the myths and hype surrounding fat loss and diets, Tom explains how Burn The Fat is Simple, but
Not Easy. The methods and changes required to lose unwanted body fat and build muscle are surprisingly simple,
but it's not always easy to stick to any new exercise or eating pattern. Understanding this, and having the
strength to continue, is hugely important.
* Real Food
Again in contrast to many fad diets Burn The Fat is based on healthy eating using real food available at
your supermarket, no expensive supplements or shakes etc required. Remember the supplement companies WANT you
to think their products are a simple answer, Tom shatters this myth once and for all.
* Bonus Volumes
Also included as part of the Burn The Fat program are a full bonues book, "How To Measure Your Body Fat in The Privacy of Your Own Home!"
an additional 3 special reports, and a further 3 unadvertised bonus reports.
* Format
Burn The Fat is presented in Adobe .pdf format as shown below, the standard format for digitally delivered books. Most computers
now have Adobe Reader pre-installed, or it can be downloaded for free from the Adobe website.
Conclusion
The quality of this publication by Tom Venuto is not in doubt. With it's honest approach and insistence that real
work and effort is required to REALLY lose body fat permanently, I can recommend this book unreservedly. My only
qualms about Burn The Fat relate to who would gain most from it. Certainly bodybuilders will find it an excellent
technical manual explaining exactly how to build muscle and lose fat. I worry the more casual reader might
be put off initially by this scientific approach, however I would thoroughly recommend it to everyone, from
novices who have never worked out in their lives to experienced bodybuilders. It is the complete system
for losing fat and is thoroughly recommended.
